BILLON GRUP
Billon was founded in 1904 when M. Constant BILLON built a factory to manufacture voile fabrics.
During the 1950's voile fabrics were gradually replaced by knitted fabrics for the fashion market.
In the sixties, Billon developped
the first knitted Lycra® garment for swimwear and the pret à porter fashion market.
Today BILLON is the leading French suppiier of stretch knitted fabric to the fashion trade.
The company has sales of FF 180 million of wich 60% is exported.
BILLON TECHNIC
In 1987 BILLON TECHNIC was formed to developp the newest techniques in knitting technology.
BILLON TECHNIC is involved in the development of technical textiles for personal protection, leisure, medical and industrial applications.
The company is an approved supplier to the french military services and has achieved ISO 9002 certification.
Through various knitting techniques, manufacturing and finishing units,
we produce the following textiles :
